1.	APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE. Minutes: Apologies for absence were received from Councillors J.P. Jenkins A.D.T. Speake.
2.	DECLARATIONS OF PERSONAL INTERESTS. Minutes: There were no declarations of interest.
3.	THE MID AND WEST WALES FIRE AUTHORITY Minutes: The Committee was informed that Councillor C.P. Higgins had recently resigned as a member of the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority on which the Council had five representatives. As representation on the aforementioned was politically balanced the Leader of the Labour group had been consulted regarding the nomination of a replacement and Councillor D.C. Evan’s name had been put forward. RESOLVED that Cllr. D.C. Evans be appointed to replace Cllr. C.P. Higgins as one of the Council’s representatives on the Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Authority.
4.	THE STANDING ADVISORY COUNCIL ON RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (SACRE) Minutes: The Committee was informed that Councillor H.A.L. Evans had resigned as a member on the Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education [SACRE] on which the Council had four representatives. As representation on the aforementioned was politically balanced the Leader of the Plaid Cymru had been consulted regarding the nomination of a replacement and Councillor M.J.A. Lewis’s name had been put forward. RESOLVED that Cllr. M.J.A. Lewis be appointed to replace Cllr. H.A.L. Evans as one of the Council’s representatives on SACRE.
5.	THE WELSH BOOKS COUNCIL Minutes: The Committee was advised that Councillor A. Lenny had resigned as a member of the Welsh Books Council and the Council needed to consider appointing a replacement. RESOLVED that Councillor S.E. Thomas be appointed to replace Cllr. A. Lenny on the Welsh Books Council.
6.	THE TAI CANTREF HOUSING ASSOCIATION BOARD OF MANAGEMENT Minutes: The Committee was advised that Councillor E. Dole had resigned as an observer on the Tai Cantref Housing Association Board of Management and the Council needed to consider appointing a replacement. RESOLVED that Councillor M.J.A. Lewis be appointed to replace Cllr. E. Dole as the Council’s observer on the Tai Cantref Housing Association Board of Management.
7.	THE WALES COUNCIL FOR THE BLIND - REGIONAL STEERING GROUP (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE) Minutes: The Committee was advised that Councillor P.E.M. Jones had resigned as a member of the Wales Council for the Blind – Regional Steering Group and the Council needed to consider appointing a replacement. RESOLVED that Councillor K.P. Thomas be appointed to replace Cllr. P.E.M. Jones on the Wales Council for the Blind – Regional Steering Group.
