Additional documents: Minutes: The Executive Board Member considered a report which sought approval on the proposed on-street waiting restrictions in Ammanford. Details of the following proposed restrictions were provided within Appendix 1 and 2 to the report:
i.
Limited waiting, Quay
Street
ii.
Maesquarre Road
It was reported that following initial consultation on the proposals with statutory consultees, 3 objections and a 32 name petition against the advertised proposals had been received, as detailed within Appendix 3 to the report together with the officer responses thereto.
The Executive Board Member considered the proposals along with the associated objections received.
It was recommended that following due consideration of the objections and the Authority’s response, the proposals, as detailed in the Public Notice of the schedule of locations (Appendix 1) be approved.

i. Cwmann, A482 - Introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time, on the North side of Treherbert street, near its junction with Cwrt Deri;
ii. Heol y Gaer, Llanybydder - Introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time both sides of junction;
iii. Trallwm Road/Bryn Isaf, Llwynhendy – Introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time and loading/unloading at the junction;
iv. Elkington Park, Burry Port - Introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time;
v. Danlan Road, Pembrey - Introduce a revocation of the existing prohibition of waiting at any time and introduce a prohibition of waiting, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00 hours.
It was reported that following initial consultation on the proposals with statutory consultees, 20 objections and a 64 name petition against the advertised proposals had been received, as detailed within Appendix 3 to the report together with the officer responses thereto.
The Executive Board Member considered the proposals along with the associated objections received.
It was recommended that following due consideration of the objections and the Authority’s response, the proposals, as detailed in the Public Notice of the schedule of locations (Appendix 1) be approved subject to an amendment to Heol y Gaer, Llanybydder, as detailed in the report.
RESOLVED that:

Additional documents: Minutes: The Executive Board Member considered a report to determine objections received to the on street experimental Order at locations within the millennium coastal park. Details of the following proposed restrictions were provided within Appendix 1 and 2 to the report:
i. Factory Road, Pembrey Country Park; ii. Road leading down to car park, adjacent to shoreline caravan park, Pembrey; iii. Access road to festival fields car park, Llanelli; iv. Access road from Burry Port link road to car park.
The Executive Board Member noted that the purpose of the proposed restrictions was to aid road safety, the free flow of traffic along the section of road, especially for emergency vehicles.
It was reported that following initial consultation on the proposals with statutory consultees, objections were received in relation to Factory Road, Pembrey Country Park only, which included 97 objections against the advertised proposals, as detailed within Appendix 3 to the report together with the officer responses thereto.
The Executive Board Member considered the proposals along with the associated objections received.
The Executive Board Member noted that in the main, objectors were concerned that no arrangements had been made for horse box trailers, which were too big to park in the car park. In view of the concerns received, it was recommended to implement the proposals as described in Appendix 1, with the amendment as stated in 3.2.1.2 of the report, to include the introduction of a parking bay for a horse boxes and their towing vehicles, opposite the entrance to the car park near the football field, for a length of some 30 metres, to replace the existing double yellow lines described within the order.
RESOLVED that:
