2.	GUIDELINES FOR THE PROVISION OF MEMORIAL INSTALLATIONS IN PUBLIC OPEN SPACES PDF 329 KB Additional documents: REPORT , item 2. PDF 372 KB Minutes: The Executive Board Member considered draft guidelines for the provision of memorial installations in public open spaces. The guidelines, if approved, would enable requests for memorials for loved ones from members of the public to be managed and would make applicants aware of the arrangements and terms and conditions where memorials were agreed. RESOLVED that the guidelines for applications for the provision of memorial Installations in Public Open Spaces be approved.
3.	EVENT SUPPORT FUND APPLICATIONS PDF 357 KB Minutes: The Executive Board Member considered applications for assistance from the Events Support Fund which had been assessed on the basis of their contribution to the Council’s Tourism, Community and Economic strategic aims. RESOLVED 3.1 that the following applications for assistance from the Events Support Fund be approved subject to the terms and conditions indicated in the criteria for the fund:- Event Award G?ylCerddoriaeth Llandeilo £1,500.00 Llandelio Jazz Festival £1,500.00 Pembrey Garden Festival £350.00* Llandovery Motorbike Festival £850.00 Carmarthen River Festival £1,000.00 Ammanford Big Day Out £2,000.00 Gwyl Hanes Cymru I Blant / Children’s Festival of Welsh History £1,500.00 [* subject to the provision of sponsorship advice to the organisers.] 3.2 that the application in respect of an Equine Show be not entertained as it did not meet the Fund’s criteria.
