The Joint Scrutiny Committee has been established to provide a scrutiny function to ensure greater public accountability over decisions made by the Swansea Bay City Region Joint Committee (administered by Carmarthenshire County Council).

The membership of the Joint Scrutiny Committee consists of 12 members, three from each participating authority,  namely Carmarthenshire County Council, City & County of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and Pembrokeshire County Council.

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is the host authority for the Joint Scrutiny Committee and further information including agendas and minutes can be found on the NPT website via the following link:-
