Apologies for absence were received from Councillor I Jackson.

There were no declarations of personal interest.

The Committee was informed that Mrs Mary Ann Collins was not present and had not contacted officers to advise them of her intentions.

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that consideration of Mrs Mary Ann Collins’ future conduct be deferred to the next meeting of the Committee.

The Committee considered an application from Mr Brian Wooloff of 6 Gathen Terrace, Llanelli for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence.

The Committee interviewed Mr Brian Wooloff with regard his application.

The Public Health Services Manager recommended that Mr Wooloff’s application be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

RESOLVED that in line with the Council’s guidelines, the application submitted by Mr B. Wooloff for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

The Committee considered an application from Mr Schalk Jacobus Loots of Pwllgair, Brongest, Newcastle Emlyn, for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence.

The Committee interviewed Mr Schalk Jacobus Loots with regard his application.

The Public Health Services Manager recommended that Mr Loots’ application be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

RESOLVED that in line with the Council’s guidelines, the application submitted by Mr S. J. Loots for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

The Committee considered an application from Mr John Frederick Kevern of 1A Upper Cross Road, Llanelli, for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence.

The Committee interviewed Mr John Frederick Kevern with regard his application.

The Public Health Services Manager recommended that Mr Kevern’s application be granted.

RESOLVED that in line with the Council’s guidelines, the application submitted by Mr J. F. Kevern for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence be granted.

The Committee was reminded that consideration of this application was deferred at the meeting held on 10^th January, 2017 (minute 8 refers) as the applicant was unable to attend.

The Committee considered an application from Mr Christopher Arthur John Owen of Tanybryn, Llanllwni, Pencader, for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence.

The Committee interviewed Mr Christopher Arthur John Owen with regard his application.

The Public Health Services Manager recommended that Mr Owen’s application be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

RESOLVED that in line with the Council’s guidelines, the application submitted by Mr C.A.J. Owen for the grant of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Dual Drivers Licence be granted with a warning as to his future conduct.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee ‘B’ held on the 13^th December, 2016 be signed as a correct record.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Licensing Committee held on the 10^th January, 2017 be signed as a correct record.
