3.2 – Planning Application PL/06580: Proposed residential development, access road and associated infrastructure on land at Parc Pencrug and associated drainage works at Land at Parc Pencrug and Maes y Farchnad, Llandeilo

Mr H. Towns lives within approximately 500 yards of the site and part of the application refers to an area of land ‘Maes y Farchnad’ which is adjacent to his parent’s property.

RESOLVED that the following planning application be granted subject to the conditions detailed within the Report/Addendum of the Head of Place and Sustainability and or reported at the meeting:-

RESOLVED that consideration of the following planning application be deferred to enable the Committee to undertake a site visit:

[NOTE:  Mr H. Towns having earlier declared an interest in this item left the meeting during its consideration].

REASON: To view the site in light of the concerns raised in relation to traffic generation and connectivity.  A Site Visit would enable the Committee to undertake an assessment of the application having regard to the site’s context and topography.
