Planning and or reported at the meeting:-

Committee’s attention was drawn to Council Procedure Rule
(CPR) 9 – Duration of Meeting and, as the meeting had been
underway for three hours, it was resolved to suspend standing
orders, in accordance with CPR 23.1, to enable the Committee to
complete the remaining business on the agenda.

adjourned at 1.30 p.m. for a lunch break and reconvened at 2.00

application for 13 no. dwellings and associated discharge of
conditions 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 pursuant to outline permission
(ref S/36817) – Land at the former NRW National Laboratory
Service, Pen Y Fai Lane, Furnace, Llanelli, SA15 4EL.
A representation was received from a local
resident regarding access to his property during construction of
the development, should planning be granted, and sought an
assurance that access would be maintained at all times. He was also
of the view a site visit (as agreed by the committee on the
27th May) would be beneficial to local residents
The Chair reported receipt of a letter from a
local resident and proceeded to read its content to the committee.
It included reference to the location of plots 2,3 and 4 within the
development overlooking his property and the resultant loss of
privacy together with a suggestion the development should be
limited to 10 dwellings
The Agent and the Development Management
Officer responded to the issues raised.
