PURSUANT TO THE ACT TO CONSIDER THESE ITEMS IN PRIVATE, THE PUBLIC
WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE MEETING DURING SUCH CONSIDERATION.
Minutes:
UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED,
pursuant to the Local Government Act 1972, as amended by the Local
Government (Access to Information) (Variation) (Wales) Order 2007,

TO RECEIVE THE ACTION NOTES OF THE MEETING OF THE SHORTLISTING PANEL HELD ON:-
Minutes:
Following the
application of the public interest test it was RESOLVED pursuant to
the Act referred to in Minute No. 3 above to consider items 4.1 and
4.2 below in private, with the public
excluded from the meeting as it would involve the disclosure of
exempt information relating to a particular individual (Paragraph
12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act).
The public interest
test in this matter related to the fact that the report included
details of applications received for the position of Lay
Person. The public interest in
maintaining the above exemption outweighed the public interest in
disclosing the information contained in this report as applicants
would have a reasonable expectation that their personal information
would not be disclosed to the public. There was no overriding
public interest in such information being disclosed.
