CREATING A LOCAL LETTINGS POLICY FOR GOLWG Y CAPEL, POBL'S NEW DEVELOPMENT AT TYCROES PDF 483 KB Additional documents: Minutes: The Executive Board Member for Housing considered a report on proposals to adopt a Local Lettings Policy for Pobl’s new build development at Golwg y Capel, Tycroes. This policy would ensure the creation of a sustainable community where people were proud to live. This Policy would apply to the initial letting of the new homes for rent at Tycroes and remain in place for 6 months after the last letting.
RESOLVED to approve the Local Lettings Policy for the new homes on Golwg y Capel, Pobl’s new build development in Tycroes subject to transfers for all house types to include households who are overcrowded as well as under-occupying their current social housing homes.

CREATING A LOCAL LETTINGS POLICY FOR MAES Y GWENYN, POBL'S NEW DEVELOPMENT AT CROSS HANDS PDF 470 KB Additional documents: Minutes: The Executive Board Member for Housing considered a report on proposals to adopt a Local Lettings Policy for Pobl’s new build development at Pobl Housing Group at Cross Hands - Maes Y Gwenyn. This policy would ensure the creation of a sustainable community where people were proud to live. This Policy would apply to the initial letting of the new homes for rent at Tycroes and remain in place for 6 months after the last letting.
It was highlighted and noted by the Executive Board Member that the local ward for this development was in fact Llannon, not Gorslas as indicated in the report, and that the Llannon ward members, Cllrs Emlyn Dole and Dot Jones, had been consulted. Cllrs Aled Vaughan Owen and Darren Price, the ward members for Gorslas, had been made advised of the error.
RESOLVED to approve the Local Lettings Policy for the new homes on Maes Y Gwenyn, Pobl’s new build development in Cross Hands, subject to transfers for all house types to include households who are overcrowded as well as under-occupying their current social housing homes.
