FORMER TENANT DEBT WRITE-OFF Additional documents:
Minutes: Following the application of the public interest test it was RESOLVED pursuant to the Act referred to in minute no. 3 above not to publicise the content of the report as it contained exempt information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the Authority holding that information) (Paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act).
The public interest test in this matter related to the fact that the public interest in maintaining the exemption referred to above outweighed the public interest test in disclosing the contents of the report as disclosure would result in the unwarranted and excessive intrusion into trhe private and family lives of the individuals concerned.
The Executive Board Member considered a report prepared in accordance with the Council’s Procedure Rules, providing the current position on former tenant debt and seeking the write-off of former tenant debts in excess of £1,500.
The Executive Board Member noted the cases outlined in the report and considered the individual reports for each of the former tenants detailing the reasons why write-off was being sought which included personal circumstances.
RESOLVED that the former tenant debt arrears detailed within the report be written-off as irrecoverable |

FOOD CONCESSION AT LOWER TROSTRE ROAD, LLANELLI Minutes: Following the application of the public interest test it was RESOLVED pursuant to the Act referred to in minute no. 3 above not to publicise the content of the report as it contained exempt information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the Authority holding that information) (Paragraph 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act).
The public interest test in this matter related to the fact that the public interest in maintaining the exemption referred to above outweighed the public interest test in disclosing the contents of the report as disclosure would put the authority at a material disadvantage in any subsequent negotiations with third parties and potentially harm the public purse.
The Executive Board Member considered a report on the licence issued for the food concession on council owned land at Trostre Road, Llanelli.
RESOLVED that the existing hot food concession licence on council owned land at Trostre Road, Llanelli be terminated and a new agreement be entered into with the new owner of the business for the remainder of the concession period

LETTING OF THE FORMER TIC (TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE) UNIT, CRESCENT ROAD CAR PARK, LLANDEILO. T/A G T LOCKSMITHS Minutes: Following the application of the public interest test it was RESOLVED pursuant to the Act referred to in minute no. 3 above not to publicise the content of the report as it contained exempt information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the Authority holding that information) (Paragraph 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act).
The public interest test in this matter related to the fact that the public interest in maintaining the exemption referred to above outweighed the public interest test in disclosing the contents of the report as disclosure would put the authority at a material disadvantage in any subsequent negotiations with third parties and potentially harm the public purse.
The Executive Board Member considered a report prepared on the letting of the former Tourist Information Centre at Llandeilo.
RESOLVED that the terms detailed in the report for the letting of the former Tourist Information Centre at Llandeilo to the existing tenant be confirmed.

The Executive Board Member considered a report on the leasing of the Penygroes Pavilion for a community café and related facilities.
RESOLVED that the Council enter into a lease agreement with Menter Cwn Gwendraeth Elli for the use of the Penygroes Pavilion for the purposes of providing a community café and related facilities.
