RESOLVED that the Decision Record of the meeting held on the 20^th March, 2017 be signed as a correct record.

The Executive Board Member considered a report detailing the covert surveillance activity undertaken by the authority in 2016/2017 and, in accordance with the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, reviewed, for use during the 2017-18 municipal year, the Council’s current procedures governing those activities. It was recommended that no changes be made to the current procedures.

RESOLVED that the report be noted and the Council’s current Covert Surveillance Procedures be approved without change for the 2017-18 municipal year.
