CARMARTHENSHIRE RURAL ENTERPRISE FUND pdf icon PDF 333 KB

Minutes:

The Executive Board Member considered a report detailing proposals by the Authority to make available funds from the 2016/2017 and 2017/18 financial years capital allocation to provide grant aid for capital projects for the county’s rural enterprises. The Grant would provide assistance to enterprises and sole traders for the development of new and existing business premises where new jobs were created as a result of the project.

It was proposed that Grants for works to property would be available to owners of the freehold interest in the property or to lessees holding a lease that had a minimum of 5 years, not 15 years as indicated in the report, remaining at the time of application.
