Minutes:

With reference to minute 3 of the Executive Board Decisions Meeting for the Leader held on the 30th October 2018 the Executive Board Member considered a report which proposed the continuation of the original Business Flood Relief Fund to assist Carmarthenshire businesses with recovery from damage particularly in light of both the impact of Covid 19 and the increasing frequency of storm flooding. It was further proposed that the original eligibility criteria be amended so that businesses which had suffered from flooding over the last three years could access funding support for pro-active projects to protect their properties from future flood damage.

RESOLVED

4.1 to approve the continuation of the original Business Flood Relief Fund to assist Carmarthenshire Businesses with recovery from damage to premises caused by flooding;

4.2 to agree an amendment to original eligibility criteria to enable businesses which have suffered from flooding over the last three years to access funding support for pro-active projects to protect their properties from future flood damage.
