PDF 15 KB Minutes: The Cabinet Member received a report on the Welsh Government 2022/23 Allotment Support Fund. The report included information on the fund and included a work plan which sought the Cabinet Member’s retrospective approval It was reported that Carmarthenshire Council had been allocated an indicative amount of £39,601 by Welsh Government via the Allotment Support Grant to increase the availability of good quality allotment plots across Carmarthenshire. The funding related to activity within 2022/23 financial year and that the fund would be utilised in a variety of ways to help boost the capacity of the organisations as set out in the report. The Cabinet member considered the Work Plan appended to the report at Appendix A which included details of 14 projects that had been received and assessed by the Bureau team. It was explained that the Work Plan had already been submitted to the Welsh Government for approval prior to the deadline of 10^th June, 2202 and therefore sought the Cabinet Members retrospective approval. It was highlighted, as stated in the report, that the fund and any variations to the funding would be administered by the Authority’s Bureau team. RESOLVED that the applications submitted for consideration as part of the Welsh Government 2022/23 Allotment Support Fund be retrospectively approved.
