RESOLVED that the decision record of the meeting held on the 9^th May, 2024 be signed as a correct record.  

The Cabinet Member considered application received from the Golden Grove Trust for assistance from the Rural Innovation Fund.

It was reported that Gelli Aur, near Llandeilo was known as one of the most important country house estates in Wales.  However, the estate was noted as being in a state of disrepair resulting in the Trust seeking support to rescue the entire estate from its current condition and build a sustainable future for the site.

The report provided detailed information on the proposed project which would undertake a review into the future viability of the estate providing an action plan for the Trust on ways the estate could be redeveloped as a sustainable enterprise to attract investment and to secure its future.

RESOLVED that the application from Golden Grove Trust for £44,901 assistance from the Rural Innovation Fund be approved subject to the usual terms and conditions and those specified in the report.
