The Cabinet member considered the report which sought approval of the 10-year strategic plan and the following revised Access and Collections Management Framework policies in support of the CofGâr UK Museums Accreditation:

 

·       CofGâr Access Policy 2024-2029

·       CofGâr Collections Development Policy 2024-2029

·       CofGâr Collections Care and Conservation Policy 2024-2029

·       CofGâr Loans Policy 2024-2029

·       CofGâr Documentation Policy Statement 2024-2029

 

It was noted that the revised and updated policies were a revision of existing policies that had received approval in 2017.  The policies will provide onward planning and activity, in support of the museum service’s approach to risk management of the Council assets.

 

RESOLVED that the:

 

3.1  CofGâr Strategic Plan 2024-2034 be approved

3.2 CofGâr Access Policy 2024-2029 be approved

3.3 CofGâr Collections Development Policy 2024-2029 be approved

3.4 CofGâr Collections Care and Conservation Policy 2024-2029 be

      approved

3.5  CofGâr Loans Policy 2024-2029 be approved

3.6 CofGâr Documentation Policy Statement 2024-2029 be approved

FEES AND CHARGES FOR 2025/26 WITHIN OUTDOOR RECREATION pdf icon PDF 158 KB

The Cabinet member considered the fees and charges for 2025/26 report which sought approval within outdoor recreation, specifically for the following:

 

·       Caban;

·       Camping and Caravanning in Pembrey; and

·       Coastal car parks.

 

It was reported that a number of factors had influenced the proposed level of charges.  Multiple factors will play a part in the service’s ability to charge and generate income for the coming financial year, and possibly the next.

 

Accordingly, the Cabinet member considered the costings as set out in the report.

 

RESOLVED that the Fees and Charges for 2025/26 within Outdoor Recreation, as set out in the report, be approved.
