A representation was received from the Local Member re-iterating the points detailed within the Head of Planning’s written report and included concerns regarding:

  • Size of the marquee which adds significantly to the ‘footprint’ of the premises;
  • Noise implications for local community both from the marquee during functions and when guests leave;
  • Lack of car parking spaces on the premises which could  exacerbate existing on-street car parking problems.

 

The Development Management Officer and Senior Technician [Planning Liaison] responded to the issues raised.
