The Cabinet Member was reminded that the Cabinet had previously accepted the recommendation of the Regeneration Partnership on the delivery models for implementation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Carmarthenshire for the following themes/projects:

 

·       Anchor Programmes - Thematic programmes developed under each of the key SPF themes that will manage major parts of the investment strategy

·       Standalone projects – Strategic applications that will address challenges that are not covered by the Anchor projects. Applications will be invited via open calls.

·       Commissioned projects - Procured activity to deliver precisely defined activity that is not being fulfilled by the delivery models detailed above.

 

  Subsequent thereto the Cabinet Member considered a report detailing the latest position in relation to the Anchor Programme, the Standalone Projects Open Call and the Multiply open call and for consent to be granted to progress the elements thereof detailed within the report.

 

RESOLVED:

3.1

That the People and Skills Anchor Programme, as recommended by Carmarthenshire’s Regeneration Partnership be approved.

3.2

That the Standalone Projects Paper and key themes to be put forward for open call under the People and Skills priority, as recommended by the Regeneration Partnership, be approved.

3.3

That the Open Calls for applications for the Multiply Programme within the People and Skills Priority be approved.
