To approve the Welsh Language Promotion Strategy for 2023-28, as a part of our statutory responsibilities under the Welsh Language Measure (Wales) 2011. Carmarthenshire County Council leads on the preparation of the Promotion Strategy; however, we work closely with partners across the county to co-design our work to support the Language in our communities. This is the second promotion strategy and there will be an opportunity to reflect on the results of the 2021 Census as part of our work.
